This work was created in response to a series of events that took place in St. John’s, NL in the summer of 2002 when a community experienced joy and grief, clarity and confusion, patience, impatience, calmness, unrest, and comfort, together.

The piece was dedicated to Tara Buchanan, singer, musician, dancer, writer and artist; humanitarian and environmental activist, who left us at 23, and her family.
